In retrospect, proving commercial viability in ELECTRON as a magazine can be a challenge. First of all, readership does not exist yet, which is unusual for a magazine. There is a following of green car environmentalists, but not a strong one for performance green car enthusiasts. Although car companies all have high dollar electric sports cars to tout in a car show about this exciting future, they are still out of reach in the short term. As a result, ELECTRON is like Hot Rod magazine, but 10 years before there were hot rods.
